Our Process
Our Process
Discovery
Studio de Luna will provide a discovery survey to intake your website content (including text, photos, videos, logos, and graphics), and any color and design preferences.

Direction
Our studio will propose two options for visual direction.
If more options are requested, extra fees apply. This is how we keep our main offering at a flat fee, making a website refresh accessible to businesses of all size.

Design
Once a direction is chosen, our studio will begin full site design and content transfer with attention to details and responsiveness for all devices.
Delivery
Once the studio has completed designing the new website with your content, it will be delivered for review followed by a call for handoff and launch.

What you’ll need to provide before your website build begins:
Branding – logo, color palette, mood board (other sites you like).
Content – finalized website copy (the words on your website) for the pages you’ve selected.
Images and graphics – including headshots or photos of your team or business.

From start to finish, about 3 - 4 weeks.
Once you contact us and schedule your build, it takes about a week for the initial discovery call and content collection. (If you get your content to us faster, the faster the possible turnaround time!)
Our website build takes place over just two weeks, after you’ve provided your content and images.
Delivery will include a few days for your review and a final handoff and launch call.
We typically book a few weeks out for builds. Contact us ASAP to start the conversation and get on our schedule!

Yes! If you have a logo we’ll just need you to provide in transparent .png format and we’ll add it to your site!
If not, you can either add on a basic logo design to your package OR keep it simple and have your business name displayed in text format.

It depends on the template and pages you choose. From our experience and for your planning purposes, you’ll need 1 - 2 headshots, business, or team photos, and around 10 - 12 additional photos for multi-page templates.

Your website will be all yours after the build! We transfer the account ownership to you on the final handoff and launch call.
You can hire us or another designer to make future updates, or you can DIY.

You’ll pay Squarespace directly for hosting (anywhere from $192 - $276/year depending on which Squarespace plan you need; we’ll walk you through this during both our discovery and delivery call).
You’ll also need a domain name in mind or to know where your current one is managed.
If you don’t have one yet, we can help you get one free (as long as it’s available) for one year with your new Squarespace business hosting plan.

I’ll provide a walkthrough and videos showing you how to update your website yourself. (Squarespace makes this super easy!)
You’ll also receive one week of included email support after your site launches for any quick questions.
